So today we decided to set off on a 150 mile trip to a casino and drop by some malls and outlets on the way there. After going to 2 malls we finally arrived at the casino hours later and we parked and went in. My father went to the bathroom and my mom and I stayed outside and waited for him, right after he got out of the bathroom we saw that there was nothing there so after that we just left.. The cigarette smell was also very hefty.. So basically, we went 150 miles to a casino only to go in for three minutes and leave.. What a trip..

Lost OMGPOP Gold Star

So, I logged in today and found out that I had lost my gold star which I had worked for.. All I did was get several friends who were at a party to make an account on omgpop and I gave them 50 exp everyday to get them to level 10, I guess I wasted my time, and now I have to try again.. So basically I got all level 10 and then I bought STAR and it gave me gold star, plus I am a low level so some people might have been jealous and reported me for “cheating” which I never did… I will try to gain back those referrals it’s another waste of a month but I guess it’s worth it.. I am guessing most likely most of my friends that registered didn’t “Verify” their emails.

Flip Mino HD

I actually bought the Flip Mino HD from Costco today for around $160 without tax. I went to my local Costco at first and looked for the item but I could not find it until I finally look up and I saw the 4GB 60 minute first generation one. It was for $130, I was originally going to purchase that one but I say that this second generation one has 120 minutes and 8GB, for only $30 more than I rather get this one. After looking and not finding it, I saw a couple who was also looking for it and they asked some guy to look it up and they found some at another Costco about 30 miles away. So I drove there, and found it. At first I picked up a flip thinking it was a 8GB model but it was actually a 4GB “Chrome” edition, I really wanted the chrome one.. But there wasn’t a 8GB since all the ones that Costco had were 8GB brushed metal. If there was a 8GB Chrome I would have totally got it. That 4GB chrome was the only one left and it’s still there, I don’t know why it was mixed. The only thing that is weird about the newer generation is that it doesn’t have composite cables like the previous generation, it now has an HDMI port. I went home used it and the quality was great, I accidentally deleted the video files from the drive and it kept saying 1 hour and 59 minutes and I wanted my 2 hours, so I unhid all the files and deleted the other files that were wasting my time. I don’t recommending deleting video files from the computer, delete them on the flip or on the program flipshare. I was going to get the creative vado HD 2nd generation,for $100 but the voice quality was too bad so I decided to get this. Now, I won’t have to carry around any of my bulky camcorders (cannon HD and sony) I can just have this, and it records good video unlike my camera, plus its highly portable.

Anyways I can’t wait for the iOS 4 tomorrow. I was going to get an iPhone 4G but since I got this camera, I am going to stay with my 3GS.

I have way more to say about the camera but I will post more about it later as I have work to do.

Office 2010 free upgrade

Since I bought microsoft office 2007 ultimate a week ago, I can upgrade to the professional version of 2010 for free. Before the tech guarantee page only showed an email reminder page but today when I looked at it, it had a button that said UPGRADE NOW and when I click it it brings me to a login popup.

AT&T New Data Plans

I see that AT&T has put up new data plans, $15 for 200mb and $25 for 2GB, I guess that will help improve the network. But as of today in the starting of the new month I have already used 20mb.. If I had that plan that is only 200mb I would be going over and having to pay about the same price $30 for my current unlimited plan. I was planning to upgrade my 3GS to the new iPhone 4G if that’s the case, I am not sure about it anymore since they might change my plan..

TextFree is Free?

Today, textfree has been lowered from $6 to free.. I don’t really like this idea because I actually paid for it and now they release it for free, it will add a whole bunch of users making the network 100% times slower, it was actually getting better, but now I guess it might be slower again since heaps of people are downloading and using the app… I only started using textfree since their network was better and they had numbers, but now I guess its time to go back to google voice.
