TextFree Unlimited V.S Google Voice

I usually have my google voice number as my SMS texting plan since I don’t have texting for my iPhone, but I also bought an app text free unlimited for $6 and now they have started offering phone numbers, and the texting service is much faster than before. I am debating whether I should I use google voice or textfree unlimited for texting. Leave me a reply.

EDIT: After using it, seems my friends reply faster with text free with the number, it is almost instant, and I like the push feature, but the downside is that I have to use two different numbers for texting and calling, unlike google voice, where I can do both but the only problem with that is there is no push and I have to go to google’s site everytime. I wish there was an app.

Vicks V4500 FilterFree Humidifier

I went out and bought the Vicks V4500 FilterFree Humidifier since I needed a humidifier and went home and used it and it wasn’t that great. I found it sorta loud and I could not sleep with it on. It did a great job at humidifying the room but it wasn’t that great at noise. I know that it’s just a humidifier but it doesn’t really work if it makes me not able to sleep. So I went to walmart.com and bought the Crane Dragon humidifier for kids and I got it today after a week and a half from walmart site to store an I got home and it’s GREAT. It’s very quiet and it humidifies the room. I bought the $30 dragon one because it seemed cool, I saw the frog one on amazon for $25.45 with free shipping but I ended up getting the dragon for $32.45 since walmart is easier to return for me than amazon. I will post more about this later. Although the Vicks is filterless, the Crane one is also filterless and has an optional filter if you want it.

Tried New Theme

I tried this new theme which looked like a Mac theme, and it didn’t work on my older version of my site, so I upgraded to a beta and guess what, it worked fine, but it didn’t look as good as I though, so I guess I will stick to my current theme until I find a better one.

The site has been acting weird lately, probably because my host keeps moving me to over filled servers even though I have been with them for over 5 years. Anyways, I was going to try out posterous but then I decided that this wordpress was my best choice, I might actually try out posterous in the future but right now I am sticking with tumblr and my current blog.

I haven’t been posting much. As you might have seen I have sold the domain http://i628.net for $5. I actually got $4.50 but it was alright, I used the money to purchase the domain http://chainet.info and wasted the other dollar I had left. I renewed my domains for 2-4 years and haven’t done much except fix the site and find more plugins. I have no clue what happened to my daily and weekly twitter posts but, I am working so that it it will work again, there is one plugin that may work but I have to fix it to be compatible. Licensed. <- saw a school bus at the time and I stopped thank goodness. Only made very little minors for stopping over the line but I did stop before the line like 1 feet. WordPress MU Update Plugin Problem

I have this problem where the plugin that I am trying to update keeps trying to extract, it has never happened to me before I upgraded to MU. So today, I decided to try to fix it and it didn’t really work since basically I acidentally deleted files and mysql tables. I then wanted to go to Drupal but found it had some errors as well so I just decided to restore the website. I was supposed to read a book but I restored my site instead.

Appulous and Apptrakr

Installous just switched over to apptrackr and it is going pretty smoothly but once more people use it I am not sure how it is going to be. Right now it seems fine since it just changed but it got slower after a few minutes. I checked the applois site a few minutes after and the site was vrry fast no slowness so I guess that once they switched to apptrackr the load of appulous decreased making it load the same speed as apptrackr. One other thing is appscene is very slow I am gettting 5kb which is slow usually its faster I trieddownloading with 5kb took very long and it disconnected sometimes so after five trulies at slow speed and disconnects I quit using appscene until they upgrade their servers. I know its free and all but I won’t but premium if its the same speed.
